Beckmans x Freyja, Vernissage on November 29th

Experience the fusion of design and gastronomy as Beckmans College of Design and Freyja restaurant collaborate to showcase creativity and craftsmanship. The rooftop terrace façades will be adorned with murals created by Beckmans students, and our venue will serve as a platform for their design and artistic projects. Here, food and art come together in an environment that encourages fresh impressions and new perspectives.

This autumn, VK26, a group of second-year students from Beckmans’ Visual Communication program, created a mural for Freyja’s outdoor terrace with the theme “Vertigo.” Through their personal interpretations, the students explored various ways to express the sensation of vertigo, from the physical to the emotional. The result is a multifaceted and cohesive composition where different styles are seamlessly woven into a unified whole.
