Valentines day

February is here, and doesn’t it feel like we’ve collectively stumbled through January by the skin of our teeth? Now we stand here, frozen but alive, ready to embrace love – or completely ignore it, whatever suits best. Because it’s that time of the year when love gets its own special day, celebrated, indulged in, or at the very least, acknowledged with a polite nod.

But what if you’re more of an alternative spirit? If the thought of a romantic dinner makes your skin crawl? Well, then you hang out on the terrace, of course. All week long, we’ll be running a Happy Hour with some seriously good cocktails, because love is great and all, but cocktails deserve their own place in life too. No obligatory heart-shaped balloons here – just a toast to the brave souls who have made it through February year after year without any grand romantic adventures.

And when the weekend rolls in? That’s when we turn up the break-up songs, blast the speakers, and embrace the chaos. For some, Valentine’s Day is a fairytale; for others, it’s just another excuse to belt out “Someone Like You” at the top of their lungs – and you know what? Both are completely valid. We’ll be raising our glasses while casting sideways glances at the mysterious guy in a beret sipping red wine in the corner. Is he French? A poet? Or just some guy who lost his filter in the February gloom? Either way, it’ll work itself out – whether it turns into a story worth retelling or a new romance to toast to next year.

And for those who prefer celebrating friendship over romance, why not gather your crew and honor the love you have for your best friends? Order a round of shots, sing along to nostalgic tunes, and let the night be a reminder that love comes in many forms. Laughter, stories, and perhaps a few wobbly dance moves are all part of the experience.

So forget the pressure to celebrate in a specific way – do it your way! C’est la vie, kids! Come drink with us.
